Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956, is an British Canadian actress from Canada. Best known for the role in the role of Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series for which she received nominations for five Emmy Awards and four Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the best supporting actor. In the years 2008 and 2010 she reprised the role in the films Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2.
